Stalactite Publishing was set up by Chris Scaife and Carolina Smith in 2022. It is based in Kendal, on the edge of the Lake District.

Stalactite is the publisher of Descent: the Magazine of Underground Exploration and for the time being this will be our sole focus. However, in the future we intend to publish books as well, with a responsible outdoor theme. Watch this space.
